Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Ninety One Bursary, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be under 21 years old in 2025
  • Be currently in Matric
  • Intend to study full-time towards a qualification in one of the listed fields
  • Be entering the first year of university in 2025
  • Intend to study at a recognized university in South Africa
  • Preferably have a minimum overall average of 70% or Level 6 in English and Mathematics or Sciences in Grade 11
  • Have proven financial need (family income of less than R600,000 per year; special circumstances will be assessed if applicable)
  • Meet the minimum entry requirements for the chosen field of study
  • Have an excellent academic record
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities
