How to Apply for the SAWS Work Integrated Learning Programme 2024

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is offering an 18-month Work Integrated Learning Programme targeted at TVET College learners living with a disability. Here’s how you can apply:

Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

Ensure you have the following documents ready:

  • Comprehensive CV
  • Certified copies of your qualifications
  • Proof of disability (if applicable)
  • Copy of your ID
  • Proof of address

Step 2: Register on the SAWS Recruitment Portal

  1. Visit the SAWS website.
  2. Click on the “Register” link to create a user account.
  3. Fill in the required details to complete your registration.

Step 3: Complete the Application

  1. Log in to your SAWS account.
  2. Search for the Work Integrated Learning Programme positions using the reference number “SAWS 2024.”
  3. Click on the appropriate position to start your application.
  4. Fill in all required fields in the application form.
  5. Upload your comprehensive CV and certified copies of your qualifications.
  6. Ensure you clearly outline your ID and address in your CV.

Step 4: Submit Your Application

  • Review all the information and documents you have uploaded.
  • Submit your application through the portal.

  • After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email from SAWS.
