Pretoria National Botanical Gardens will be a buzz on Sunday, 7 August 2016 for Women’s Day celebrations. Star Arts Productions and Gemini Lifestyle Events proudly present the inaugural Tsa Basadi Lifestyle Festival.

We saw a great need to have a festival that allows everyone to unite and celebrate the phenomenal women in their lives in one venue. There is something for everyone to enjoy and learn while we celebrate women,” says organiser Ezekiel Shibambo

Headlining the event is highly acclaimed South African singer-songwriter and record producer Zonke Dikana. Comedians Nina Hastie and Noko Moshwete will be hosts and an all-female line-up of entertainers including Basadi Women of Jazz, Nothemba Madumo, Nothembi Mkhwebane are part of the many performers that will keep the audience captivated.

Tsa Basadi Lifestyle Festival brings an authentic, entertainment and learning experience to a new audience. The festival will incorporate complementary lifestyle elements such as arts & crafts, beauty, fashion, wellness, food, wine, whisky, cigar, craft beer, kiddies zone, comedy and live music making this event a family orientated celebration.

For the kids and kids at heart, Bounce, world where the wall becomes the floor, where slam-dunk is within your grasp and the rules of gravity no longer apply, will keep kids entertained with various activities including international showcases. The best part is it doesn’t matter if you’re under 5 or an action sports junkie in training – you’re never too old or too young to have an awesome time. Popular hightech Lego videogames and PlayStation will be available to complete the children’s needs.
