KFC has reintroduced the Double Down – the no roll burger with all the meat, no frills and which boasts two original recipe fillets, two slices of delicious cheese, a smoked chicken slice with a dash of the famous Colonel dressing.
The Double Down, designed with men in mind, is packed with great taste as well as the finest quality ingredients, including the Colonels signature secret 11 herbs and spices. The secret recipe was first developed in 1940 and the same recipe is still used across the world today.
The fillets are 100% A-grade chicken and each piece is carefully selected to meet KFC’s precise quality standards. Furthermore, with the promise of Taste Guarantee, KFC assures that if customers are not fully satisfied with their meal, the restaurant will gladly replace it, because every meal at KFC should be Finger Lickin’ Good!

To celebrate the return of the Double Down, KFC, in partnership with ‘Ultimate Guys Day,’ hosted fans at an exhilarating day, filled with adventure. The day began with the team being taken to Gerotek Test Facilities where they enjoyed an advanced driving session. This was followed by a lunch en route to the FNB stadium for the Soweto Derby, and the day ended with a comedy session held at the Goliath & Goliath comedy club.
The Double Down has double the adventure, double the delicious, double the burger and is now in store–look out for the new television commercial that will be on screens from 15 November.
