The Crazy Store Table Mountain Challenge “running” success

By in Sport, Leisure on September 12, 2016

Trail running powerhouse Landie Greyling notched up another title when she won the 44km Solo race in The Crazy Store Table Mountain Challenge yesterday (Saturday 10 September).

Joining Greyling on the winner’s podium was Kane Reilly who won the solo male title.

These champs each “ran” away with R10 000 in cash!

Earlier in the week Greyling had posted that she hoped to recover from a bout of illness to take the challenge and title which had eluded her in her last 5 attempts.

The TMC as the event is fondly referred to in trail running circles, brings to an end a successful series of The Crazy Store Challenges. This year also saw Team SACS take hone R5000 in the inaugural High School Challenge.

Other top trail runners such as Christiaan Greyling, AJ Calitz, Katya Saggot and Brenna Coupland were spotted beating the trail before one final CRAZY obstacle to cross before reaching the finishing line… a jumping castle. Staying true to their name, The Crazy Store always has a bit of crazy lined up wherever they go!
