Riot Beer and Darling Brew sponsor Beer Mud Pit at the Grind Obstacle Course Race

Cape Town, South Africa – Thousands of participants will run through more than 25 obstacles in a 5K or 8K mud race at Hillcrest Wine and Olive Farm in Durbanville on 16 & 17 April 2016. After a challenging race, all runners can join in the fun at the Post Race Party and relax with family and friends.

The joint offering between Darling Brew and Riot Beer is the newest Grind OCR sponsorship deal, they will provide one large mud pit (which might smell and taste a bit like beer on the day) directly in front of the beer tent which will be pumping out ten different craft beers including: Session Golden Ale, Valve IPA, Slowbeer, and Bonecrusher to name a few.

“We are thrilled to announce Riot Beer and Darling Brew as our official beer partners for The Grind 01,” said The Grind Founder Mat Barlett. “At The Grind we are on a mission to offer the best athlete and spectator experience, with 10 different craft beers on tap at reasonable prices, we feel like this is a small step in ensuring we are delivering for our fans”

The Post Race Party will consist of DJ’s, vendors and sponsors, a beer garden, food & beverages, and contests and prize giveaways. It’s almost time to Embrace The Grind, enjoy the beer and be part of an event that is guaranteed to make you want to come back for more.
