Pam Golding Properties expands in Bloemfontein
Pam Golding Properties has expanded its operation in Bloemfontein through a merger of its existing well established office with TRIA Real Estate.
With a total staff complement of 20, Pam Golding Properties Bloemfontein now operates from new premises at 39 Bankovs Boulevard in Langenhoven Park.
Says Dr Andrew Golding, CE of the Pam Golding Property group: “We welcome Ulrich and Adeline Sirgel of TRIA Estate, together with Hennie Aucamp as shareholders of this newly formed franchise trading as Pam Golding Properties Bloemfontein.
“With ongoing demand fuelled by its excellent schools, university and judicial and business centre which serve the greater Free State province, the residential property market in Bloemfontein market enjoys a stable track record.
“As a result, since the economic downturn in 2007, the City of Roses has not experienced the highs and lows of many other cities affected by mining and other economic factors. Since 2008 the market has consistently recorded sales volumes in residential homes of between 2 500 and 2 600 units per annum.
“The price bands which have accelerated the most in the past eight years are in the R800 000 to R1.5 million bracket, followed by the R1.5 million to R3 million segment. Overall the residential property market currently comprises 69.27% free standing homes and 30.73% sectional title, including those situated in estates, with house price growth most notable in freestanding homes and estates such as Woodlands Hills Wildlife Estate – the first to offer this kind of appealing estate lifestyle in the city.”
Situated on the northerly outskirts of Bloemfontein, the modern homes in Woodlands Hills Wildlife Estate are constantly in demand. The estate comprises a combination of full title homes (72%) and sectional title units (28%), with some vacant stands still being sold. Most sought after are the full title properties which are selling between R2.5 million for three bedroom, two bathroom homes with two garages up to R7 million, and with an average price of R3.5 million, while sectional title properties are being acquired at an average selling price of R1.6 million.
Comments Sirgel: “Having built up my own company and brand right from the start I fully appreciate the value of a professional and reputable brand, and took the decision to approach Pam Golding Properties. This strategic move will enable us to further deliver on our commitment to providing clients with the best possible service and property opportunities.
“Now as Pam Golding Properties, backed by the support and extensive network of the entire group of some 300 offices, our aim is for our dynamic team of agents to grow our business across both the north and south housing markets as well as providing buyers and sellers with exposure to markets in South Africa and internationally.”
