As part of a Mandela Day initiative, Pam Golding Properties is hosting a Street Store and collecting warm clothing, blankets, shoes, food and other items for the homeless. The street store is taking place on the 16 July 2016 at Elim Night Shelter in Elsies River, Goodwood in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs.
“Thanks to the generosity of local residents, last year’s event was a huge success, and we are hoping this year to also make a difference during these cold winter days and nights,” says Charlton Williams, Pam Golding Properties area principal in the Goodwood, Athlone and Belhar areas.
“In addition to handing out donated items of clothing and blankets on the day we will be providing the homeless with food and hot beverages.
“Anyone who can assist with donations is asked to please drop these off at the Pam Golding Properties Expo at the Parow Centre up to 3 July or at our Goodwood office at Unit 3, The Boulevard, 159 Vaco Boulevard in Goodwood up until 5pm on 13 July, or alternatively, contact us and we will collect.”
