The team from Blue Strawberry Caterers & My Chef took time out of their busy cooking schedule to bring some cheer to the staff at the Durban & Coast SPCA in Springfield recently by surprising them with a scrumptious lunch with all the trimmings.
Jenni Jackson, the Owner of Blue Strawberry & My Chef said, “We try our best to set aside time to give back to those who do good. It feels great to treat those who are the voices for our many mistreated and abandoned animals, and we wanted to do something to show them that we appreciate their efforts out in the field and at their place of work.
Lindsey Concer, the Income Development and Communications Manager from the SPCA, was over the moon when the catering team turned up. “We are always so thankful and appreciative when we receive financial support from members of the public and business sector, that donate towards our orphaned animals or take the time out to adopt, but today, this was very special as our staff was made to feel appreciated for all our efforts,” she added.
